1. The fan belt is a belt driven by the crankshaft. Its main purpose is to drive the engine fan and water pump.
2. The V-ribbed belt, also known as the air-conditioning belt, is used to drive the generator, air-conditioning compressor, and power steering pump, hang on the crankshaft pulley, and be tightened by the air-conditioning belt tensioner. When this belt is damaged, the power assist will feel heavy, and there will be no power steering; if the air conditioner is turned on, the air conditioner compressor will not start, so it will not be able to cool.
3. Timing belt (Timing belt) is an important part of the engine gas distribution system. It is connected with the crankshaft and matched with a certain transmission ratio to ensure the accuracy of the intake and exhaust timing.
The function of the timing belt is that when the engine is running, the stroke of the piston (up and down movement), the opening and closing of the valve (time), and the sequence (time) of the ignition, under the connection of "timing", keep "synchronization" at all times run.
