Disassembly and Installation Procedure for Piston WP12 612630020152 Heavy Truck Parts

1. Drain the coolant and oil from the engine.

2. Remove the cylinder head and the oil pan.

3. Remove the connecting rod caps and push the pistons out of the cylinder bores.

4. Carefully disassemble the piston and connecting rod assemblies.

5. Clean all parts thoroughly with a suitable solvent.

6. Inspect the pistons, pins, and connecting rods for damage or wear.

7. Install new piston rings onto the pistons, making sure they are installed correctly.

8. Lubricate the pistons, pins and rings with engine oil.

9. Install the piston assemblies back into the cylinder bores, making sure they are properly aligned.

10. Install the connecting rod caps and torque to the manufacturer's specifications.

11. Install the cylinder head and torque to the manufacturer's specifications.

12. Install the oil pan and torque to the manufacturer's specifications.

13. Refill the engine with coolant and oil.

14. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes to check for leaks and proper operation.
