The method of detecting whether the cylinder gasket is damaged or not:

1. Use a rubber hose to check the tightness of the cylinder gasket, start the engine, put one end of the rubber hose close to the ear, and the other end along the connection between the cylinder head and the cylinder block that may be poorly sealed. If the cylinder head gasket is poorly sealed, the sound of air leakage can be clearly heard at the leak;

2. Check the tightness of the cylinder head gasket by looking at the water splash of the radiator, open the radiator cover, keep the engine running at idle speed, observe the coolant filling port of the radiator, and quickly step on the accelerator pedal to the bottom. If it gushes out, it means that the cylinder head gasket is not well sealed. The more air bubbles, the more serious the air leakage. In severe cases, the radiator mouth will turn over and splash at idle speed;

3. Use an exhaust gas analyzer to test the tightness of the cylinder head gasket. The coolant filling port of some engine radiators is under the iron plate, so it is impossible to check the air bubbles. The radiator cover can be opened, and the probe of the exhaust gas analyzer should be placed on the opened radiator cover. Do not touch the coolant. If HC can be detected during rapid acceleration, it means that the cylinder head gasket is not well sealed.
