Air Filter

Car air filter, commonly known as air filter, its function is to filter out dust, sand and other impurities suspended in the air, prevent them from entering the engine, and provide clean and sufficient air to the engine. To put it bluntly, it is like a gas mask for the engine, allowing the engine to breathe clean, harmless and smooth.

The function of the air filter is to provide clean air for these mechanical equipment to prevent these mechanical equipment from inhaling air containing impurity particles during work and increasing the probability of abrasion and damage.

The main components of the air filter are the filter element and the casing. The filter element is the main filtering part and is responsible for filtering the gas. The casing is the external structure that provides necessary protection for the filter element. The working requirements of the air filter are to be able to undertake high-efficiency air filtration work, not to add too much resistance to the air flow, and to be able to work continuously for a long time.

The engine must inhale a large amount of air during operation. If the air is not filtered, dust suspended in the air will be sucked into the cylinder, which will accelerate the wear of the piston group and the cylinder. Larger particles entering between the piston and the cylinder will cause serious "cylinder pulling" phenomenon, which is particularly serious in dry and sandy working environments. The air filter is installed in front of the carburetor or intake pipe to filter out dust and sand in the air to ensure that sufficient, clean air enters the cylinder.
