The working principle of the differential is as follows:

1. When the car is running straight, the driven bevel gear of the main reducer drives the differential case to rotate, the differential drives the planetary gear shaft to rotate, the planetary gear shaft drives the planetary gear to revolve, and the side gear is held by the planetary gear Rotate at the same speed and in the same direction. At this time, the planetary gear only revolves, not automatically, and the speed of the left and right wheels is equal to the speed of the driven bevel gear;

2. When the car is turning, the planetary gear rotates while revolving, that is, the rotation around the planetary gear shaft, resulting in an increase in the speed of the half-shaft gear on one side, and a decrease in the speed of the half-shaft gear on one side, and the wheels on both sides Rotate at different speeds. At this time, the increased speed of one wheel is equal to the decreased speed of the other wheel;

3. When the two driving wheels are supported, the wheels are lifted off the ground. If we turn one wheel, the other wheel rotates in the opposite direction at the same speed. At this time, the planetary gears in the differential only rotate on their own and do not revolve. The side gears on both sides rotate in opposite directions, thereby driving the wheels on both sides to rotate in opposite directions at the same speed.
