Cause of issue:
1) When starting the engine, the ring gear is damaged due to the collision between the starter gear and the flywheel ring gear or the poor meshing of the two teeth.
2) The power supply of the starter is connected too early, causing the starter gear to collide with the ring gear of the flywheel.
Troubleshooting:
Prevent starter power from being turned on prematurely. When the teeth of the ring gear are worn on one side, the ring gear can be turned over and used; when individual teeth are damaged, it can continue to be used, but when the gears cannot mesh and enter the ring gear, the crankshaft can be shaken by the hand crank first to damage the ring gear and the ring gear. The gears of the starter are staggered; if the two sides of the ring gear are severely worn, they should be replaced with new ones or repaired by surfacing. If the ring gear is severely worn and the engine is not running smoothly, it is caused by the loss of balance due to the wear of the ring gear, and the balance should be corrected.
When changing the ring gear, the heating temperature should not exceed 400°C, otherwise the ring gear will lose its hardness and become durable.
